Kilimanjaro Tour Itinerary
Start/End Point: Moshi or Arusha
06:30 AM – Pick-up from Your Hotel
Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Moshi (or Arusha upon request). Drive to the Marangu Gate of Kilimanjaro National Park (approx. 1–1.5 hours from Moshi).
08:00 AM – Registration and Trek Briefing
At the park gate, your guide will assist with registration and permits. You’ll receive a short safety briefing before beginning the hike.
08:30 AM – Start Trek through Kilimanjaro Rainforest
Begin your 3–4 hour hike through Kilimanjaro’s lush rainforest zone. Keep an eye out for blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, and various bird species.
12:30 PM – Reach Mandara Hut (2,700m)
Arrive at Mandara Hut for a rest and a picnic lunch. Enjoy panoramic views and visit the nearby Maundi Crater (optional short walk, weather permitting).
01:30 PM – Begin Descent
Start hiking back down the same route, enjoying a new perspective of the forest.
04:00 PM – Return to Marangu Gate and Drive Back
Arrive back at the gate, receive a certificate of completion (optional), and drive back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
06:00–06:30 PM – Drop-off at Your Hotel
You’ll be dropped off at your hotel with amazing photos and memories from your Kilimanjaro adventure.
